Mark Peart, a pilot and aviation entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience, founded Light Jets Australia to provide a trusted, fully integrated private jet charter service.

Phil Walker, an experienced pilot and aviation professional, co-founded Archerfield Jet Base and is a senior pilot at Light Jets Australia, specialising in corporate jet operations.

Alex Melville, a pilot at Light Jets Australia, holds a Bachelor of Aviation from Griffith University and began his career as a ground handler at Archerfield Jet Base.
ALLY GRAVOLIN
Sales and Operations Manager
Ally Gravolin, Sales and Operations Manager at Light Jets Australia, oversees charter bookings and operations, bringing extensive sales and marketing experience.
Mark Peart’s aviation career began in 1987 when he obtained his private pilot licence, later transitioning from stockman to helicopter mustering pilot in the Northern Territory. Over the next two decades, he built and operated multiple aviation businesses, including Carpentaria Helicopters, Gulfline Aviation, and Sky Safari, servicing remote communities, tourism, and corporate clients. His experience spans both fixed-wing and helicopter aviation, amassing 21,000 flight hours, including 17,000 in helicopters and 3,000 in single-pilot jets. In 2007, he pivoted to corporate jet aviation, securing his Commercial Fixed-Wing Licence and type ratings before launching Light Jets Australia in 2011 to fill a gap in the market for a fully integrated private jet charter service.
Beyond aviation, Mark has successfully expanded his business expertise into property development and agricultural technology. As the founder of DIT Technologies, he leveraged his family’s legacy in water supplementation for cattle, transforming it into one of Australia’s leading AgTech companies. He is also a Director at Archerfield Jet Base, a Brisbane-based Fixed Base Operator catering to private aviation clients. Despite his many ventures, flying remains his lifelong passion, and he takes pride in leading Light Jets with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and premium service.
